After graduating with a Master's Degree in Film Studies, she travels the world before settling down as a set dresser in Hollywood. Accumulating experiences, she builds a visual brand that reflects her unique personality: magical, surreal and colorful. A world influenced by Fellini, Burton or Jeunet. During this American escapade, she directs several self-produced short films as well as a first theatrical work: Fatmosphere. Real dive into her wacky spirit, the play is a surreal journey through the syndrome of romantic attachment. Back in Paris, she works with 1000 Visages, an organization that teaches filmmaking to young kids from disadvantaged neighborhoods. For 3 years, she supervised theater workshops and staged two shows (at the Arab world Institute and at the Théâtre du Gymnase) co-created with young talents, some of whom make up the new generation of French actors. Meanwhile, she directs her first short film financed by the National Center of Cinema, Please Love Me Forever. The film was a resounding success on the festival circuit. From Gérardmer to Hollywood, it won several international awards, including Best Short at the prestigious Screamfest in Los Angeles. After directing a documentary mini-series for Arte and a second short film Blooming Dalia, Holy Fatma is currently developing her first feature while pursuing her acting career. Her latest movies include Three nights a week by Florent Gouëlou (Venice Film Festival) and Fragile by Emma Benestan. Fluent in french, english, spanish, italian & algerian arabic, she was also seen on international TV series such as Theodosia (HBO MAX) and Emily in Paris  on Netflix. Français  Holy Fatma est une actrice, scénariste, réalisatrice franco-algérienne aux influences multiples. Un master de cinéma en poche, elle voyage dans le monde entier avant de s’établir comme décoratrice de plateaux à Hollywood. Durant 3 ans, elle supervise des ateliers de théâtre et met en scène deux spectacles (à l’Institut du Monde Arabe et au Théâtre du Gymnase) co-créés avec les jeunes talents, dont une partie compose la nouvelle génération de comédiens français. En parallèle, elle réalise son premier court-métrage financé par le CNC, Please Love Me Forever. Le film rencontre un franc succès dans le circuit des festivals. De Gérardmer à Hollywood, il rafle plusieurs prix à l’international, notamment celui du meilleur court au prestigieux Screamfest de Los Angeles.
